Burglars smash their way into 3 restaurants

Denver Police are investigating a series of burglaries that happened early Monday morning.

At least three restaurants on East Hampden Avenue, near South Monaco Parkway, had their front doors smashed.

At one restaurant, the burglars cleaned out the cash registers.

The restaurants that were hit are Milk and Cake, The Egg Kitchen and Taziki's.

Denver Police have been dealing with a series of smash-and-grab burglaries over the last month.
