A barricaded suspect had several Denver Police Department officers occupied while also forcing the closure of several roads in central Denver Sunday afternoon.
The suspect, whose identity was not immediately known, was wanted on a felony warrant, according to Denver Police Technician Tyron Campbell.

Roads were closed one block to the east and one block to the west at intersections of West 3rd Avenue and Elati, and 3rd Avenue and Cherokee.
Around 9 p.m. Police warned residents to stay inside as they prepared to "disperse a chemical agent."
