4 arrested trying to flee from stolen car after crashing into west Denver home

DENVER - Four people are under arrest after trying to run from a stolen car that crashed into a home in west Denver.

The man who was behind the wheel had three female passengers in the stolen car when officers tried to get him to stop, Denver Police Department spokesman Sonny Jackson said. The driver refused and led police to the area of Osceloa St. and W. Ellsworth Ave. before losing control.

The stolen car flipped once, crashing into a home through the garage.

Although all four tried to run from the crash, Jackson said officers were able to take them into custody. Charges are pending.

Two people were taken to the hospital after the crash.
