DENVER - Within one hour Monday afternoon, Denver Police reported two bank robberies. In both cases, the suspects are still at large.
The first robbery was at a TCF Bank at 2090 S. University. Police tweeted about the robbery at 1:27 p.m.
Police say the suspect in that robbery was a white male between the ages of 25 and 35. He was approximately 5-foot-9, had stubble on his face and was wearing a beanie, green hoodie and gloves.
He was carrying a weapon, DPD added.
Police tweeted at 1:49 p.m. that the second robbery occurred at an U.S. Bank at 3400 W. 38th Ave.
The suspect in this case was an older white male, estimated to be in his 50s. He is approximately 6-feet tall and weighs an estimated 190 pounds. He was wearing a construction-type hard hat, a yellow safety vest and blue jeans.
