DENVER -- A pedestrian has died after a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in Central Denver Wednesday evening.
A male driver was coming down eastbound on Speer Boulevard when a female pedestrian was struck by the vehicle at Downing Street, according to a spokesperson with the Denver Police Department.
The male driver stopped and is being investigated for DUI, according to the DPD official.
Police are investigating the crash and are looking into who had the right of way.
