COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- One person is dead after a vehicle was found upside down in a canal.
Commerce City Police said the vehicle apparently ran off the road near 112th Avenue and Potomac Street.
The vehicle rolled and landed in the canal.
Commerce City Police said only one person was in the vehicle and that person died.

Police don't yet know what caused the crash. The Colorado State Patrol is taking over the investigation, authorities said.
