Denver Water repairs 1 water main, still working on 1 pipe on S. University Boulevard in Centennial

Lane closures expected to end by Wednesday morning

CENTENNIAL, Colo. - Denver Water has repaired a leaking water main and is still working to fix a service line along South University Boulevard in Centennial on Tuesday night.

The utility said its crew finished repairs to the 12-inch water main before 9 p.m., just south of Arapahoe Road. All lanes are open in the area.

Crews are still working on a service line being fixed is at 7560 S. University Blvd., just south of Dry Creek Road. Only one lane of University Boulevard is open in each direction and that's impacting traffic in the area.

Water service will only be interrupted for the one address fed by the service line.

Denver Water says the repairs are expected to continue through the night, but should be completed before Wednesday morning's rush hour.
