CASTLE ROCK, Colo. – There is an outpouring of support and grief on social media for the family and friends of a Castle View High School student killed in a crash Tuesday morning.
Kyra Connolly, 17, died after crashing head-on into a Douglas County School District truck. She was driving on the wrong side of the road and side-swiped another car before crashing into the district truck.
Friends and classmates held a vigil Tuesday evening to remember Connolly, and tweets and Facebook posts have been pouring in since people began to learn she was the victim.
Our deepest condolences go to Kyra Connolly's family, friends & all who were touched by her life, including the @CastleView_HS community. https://t.co/SG3DR6oe8R
