Broomfield police say four schools, including Broomfield High School, got a bomb threat Thursday morning from the same phone number.

Broomfield High School was evacuated at 10:15 a.m. Students were evacuated to the football field because it's away from the school buildings, according to the Boulder Valley School District.

Police officers searched the buildings and the students were sent back inside about 90 minutes later.

Broomfield police said the other schools receiving bomb threats were in Fort Collins, Alabama and Iowa.

Poudre Valley School District said Beattie Elementary School received a bomb threat.

"Through initial information gathering and a preliminary walk-through of the school, they quickly determined that the threat was not credible at that time," Fort Collins Police said. "Poudre School District sent a notification to parents, and classes continued without interruption."

KRDO-TV reported a bomb threat at Rockrimmon Elementary School in Colorado Springs. There's no word yet if that threat came from the same phone number.
