BOULDER, Colo. -- Boulder police are trying to find the man who went into a home and tried to have sex with a woman he didn't know at 4 a.m.

It happened in the 2600 block of Colorado Avenue, near the CU campus, on Saturday morning.

"The adult female victim was asleep on a couch and awoke to a man trying to have sex with her," Boulder police said.

The suspect was described as a black man, 25 to 35 years old, 5’8” to approximately 5’10” with a stocky build. Police released a sketch of the suspect Sunday.

The victim said she saw a gold or silver SUV leaving the area which may be related, police said.

If you recognize the man, call Detective Craig Beckjord at 303-441-3336.
