Reward in Aurora homicide case now up to $4,000

The Aurora Police Department is upping the reward for tips about a homicide that was discovered last Wednesday.

Officers found a man with several visible wounds lying on the ground at E. 28th Ave. and Wheeling St. on Feb. 26. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police said it is unclear what type of weapon was used.

The coroner has not released the victim's name.

The APD Reward Fund is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s).

This is in addition to the $2,000 reward already being offered by Crime Stoppers.
