Officers and deputies reopened roads after giving up the search for two suspects near the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds and Southlands Mall.
Aurora police told Denver7 several roads in the area were closed around 5 a.m. as they searched for two people who stole car rims at Wagontrail Avenue and De Gaulle Street.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said its deputies assisted with the search.
The search ended after about two hours.
No description was released of the suspects.
