AURORA, Colo. - Police say a homicide discovered in Aurora Saturday night was probably not random.

Investigators were called to the W. Jewell and S. Havana area of southwest Aurora at about 11:15 p.m. Saturday after an acquaintance of the victim found the body. The acquaintance did not live at the address but had gone over to meet with the male victim.

Police spokesman Officer Frank Fania said Sunday that investigators "do not believe this was a random act and they are following up on some leads."

The victim's name, age and cause of death have not been released and Aurora police refused to answer questions from 7NEWS.
