Owner finds his beloved cat tortured to death in Arapahoe County

Kyle Kontour never thought he would see his cat of ten years choked to death until he discovered his cat’s body lifeless last week.

“I found him dangling,” said Kontour.

Kontour found a cord wrapped around his cat in his backyard last Friday morning.

“Somebody had tied a cord around his neck and tied the end of the cord on the other side on the fence and then slung him over,” said Kontour.

Kontour has no clue who is behind the heinous act. He said he and his neighbors get along. He is speaking out in hopes of getting the person who tortured his cat caught and added he will dearly miss his pet.

“He was super sweet, super affectionate and kind of not a stupid cat but just enough dumb to be adorable,” said Kontour.
