Jury finds Aurora substitute teacher not guilty of masturbating in front of special needs students

AURORA, Colo. - A jury has found a substitute teacher not guilty of masturbating in front of special needs students at an Aurora school.

The Arapahoe County jury on Thursday found 58-year-old Jonathan Ogungbenle not guilty on two counts of misdemeanor indecent exposure.

Ogungbenle was arrested March 21 at Aurora West College Prep Academy and accused of masturbating in a special needs classroom, police said. There were two male students -- a sixth grader and a seventh grader -- in the classroom at the time.

The students told 7NEWS they saw what was happening and hid behind a computer until the bell rang and they told an adult.

When police arrived at the school, Ogungbenle was being held by administrators in the front office.
