Police say a homicide victim was found in a bullet-riddled truck that crashed into a fence.

The shooting happened around 2:45 a.m. on Monday on the north side of the Lowry neighborhood, near Yosemite and 11th.

A spokeswoman for the Aurora Police Dept. says they first responded to reports of a disturbance at the parking lot of a strip mall on Yosemite St.

They found the truck just feet away crashed into a fence and van along a sidewalk off  Richthofen Pl. with the man inside.

Police say he was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.

They said the victim is a man, but they are not releasing any other details.

Police said there's no suspect information to release yet.

Aurora police are also investigating a double homicide that happened late Sunday night.
