Hinkley High School closed for CO2 leak

AURORA, Colo. - Hinkley High School was evacuated and all activities cancelled Tuesday afternoon for a carbon dioxide leak, the Aurora Fire Department reported.

The department reported the leak on Twitter at 2:30 p.m.

About 25 minutes later, they reported the leaking valve was "mitigated" and the building was once again safe to occupy.

Evening activities remain cancelled.
