FBI, Aurora Police investigating Thursday robbery of Key Bank on South Tower Road

AURORA, Colo. - Agents of the FBI and the Aurora Police Department are searching for the suspect who robbed a Key Bank location with a handgun Thursday afternoon.

FBI spokesman Dave Joly said the suspect entered the bank at 3607 South Tower Road around 4:22 p.m. He displayed his weapon and pointed it across the counter at the teller.

The man got away with some cash.

The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 35. He is approximately 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and has a beard.

The suspect faces a potential sentence of 20 years or more in prison for the robbery with a weapon.
