AURORA, Colo. (AP) -- A jury has convicted an Aurora man in the death of his 17-month-old son.

The Aurora Sentinel reports (https://goo.gl/0lgNwR ) 29-year-old Romon Enders was found guilty Friday of reckless child abuse causing death. He is scheduled to be sentenced May 4.

Prosecutors say paramedics found Jayden Hernandez not breathing and unresponsive at Enders' home March 21, 2015, and the boy died of catastrophic brain injuries. He also had multiple bruises all over his body and multiple rib fractures.

Investigators say Enders told them several stories, including that other toddlers in the home caused the injury by standing on Jayden, who along with his twin sister was spending a few days with their father.
