Aurora History Museum breaks ground on addition to house restored trolley

AURORA, Colo - Work on a new addition to the Aurora History Museum began Tuesday with a groundbreaking ceremony. When completed, the Ruth Fountain Addition will house a century-old trolley.

Denver Tramway Company Trolley Trailer Number 610 was found inside an Aurora home about eight years ago. A man had purchased it back in the 1950s and built his home around it.

After it was uncovered, Trolley 610 was restored over the course of seven years.
