AURORA, Colo. - Four juvenile suspects have been arrested and an adult is being sought in connection with an armed robbery at the RTD Nine Mile light rail station earlier this week.
Surveillance cameras showed five males robbing a man at gunpoint at 5:41 a.m. last Friday.
The video showed a man in an elevator area being approached by at least three of the suspects. One man, wearing a green shirt, points what appears to be a black handgun at the victim's head.
The three suspects can be seen trying to take the man's bag and empty his pockets. A fourth suspect is seen with a cellphone in his hand as he watches.
On Thursday, four juvenile male suspects were taken into custody and will be charged with aggravated robbery, a felony, the sheriff's office said. A fourth suspect, identified as an adult is being sought.
"Due to the cooperation of Crime Stoppers and our law enforcement partners, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office made these arrests very quickly and will continue to attempt to apprehend the fifth suspect as soon as possible," said Arapahoe County Undersheriff David Walcher.
