3 suspects sought in fatal Taco Bell shooting

AURORA, Colo. - Three men are wanted for a fatal shooting in the parking lot of a Taco Bell location in Aurora.

Around midnight, four men were involved in a fight in the parking lot of the restaurant at 3554 South Tower Road, police spokesman Sgt. Chris Amsler said. At some point during the fight, shots were fired.

When officers arrived, Amsler said they found a wounded 19-year-old in the parking lot. He was taken to a hospital but died of his injuries.

Witnesses told police they saw the other three men leaving the parking lot on foot after the shots were fired. All were described as white males in their late teens to early twenties and all were wearing light-colored shorts. Two were seen wearing dark colored t-shirts and the other was possibly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the front.

Amsler said detectives are also continuing to search for witnesses.
