The wind turbine company Vestas has filed a lawsuit against the former highest-ranking financial official within the company’s Windsor plant.

Vestas claims Denna Randall and her husband, Joshua Martinez, both of Eaton, stole $1 million from the company in the past three years by diverting company money for private use and buying personal goods with a company credit card, according to the Greeley Tribune.

The newspaper said Randall and her husband are accused of using the credit card to buy automobiles, furniture, household goods, plane tickets and hotel rooms.

The Windsor plant opened in 2007. Randall was hired as director of finance and information technology.
