BENNETT, Colo. -- The Colorado High Plains Adventure will take you to a working goat farm for the Spring Farm Festival on May 26. The cool thing about it? You won't have to drive that far - it's Just 30 minutes from Denver. There will be alpaca, pigs, goats, sheep, bees and goat milking.

All veterans and active service members attending the festival will also receive a free lunch.

The Military Families Ministries once again, will be collecting black crew socks to send to deployed troops. Everyone who brings socks automatically qualifies for a drawing. At last year’s festival, 660 pairs of socks were collected.

The festival is at Caramel Apple Farm in Bennett on Saturday, May 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The farm is located at 690 South Tom Bay Ct. Bennett, 80102.
