Dunkin' Donuts is planning to open at least 11 stores in the Denver metro area.
Restaurant management company Sizzling Platter, LLC, is creating a subsidiary called Sizzling Donuts, LLC, to run the restaurants in Denver, along with locations in El Paso, Texas.
"We are excited to expand Dunkin' Donuts' presence in Denver and El Paso and play an important role in the daily lives of people who live, work and visit here," said Ted Morton, president & CEO, Sizzling Platter, LLC. "We have a passion and loyalty for the brand and look forward to the opening of our Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the years to come."
Sizzling Platter operates 124 restaurants, including Little Caesars, Sizzler and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, in seven states.
Dunkin' Donuts started in 1950 as a place for coffee and donuts. Now its expanded its menu to offer bagels, muffins, sandwiches, hash browns and more.
Dunkin' Donuts says more franchise opportunities are still available in the Denver area.
