Two El Paso County sheriff's deputies and a Colorado Springs police officer were involved in a crash near the airport on Friday afternoon.

The officers were on motorcycles involved in escort training when the chain-reaction crash occurred just after 2 p.m. at 1360 Aviation Way, KRDO-TV reported.

The injured officers were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, the station said.
