Denver Police Identify Suspect In Child Abduction, Sex Assault

The Denver Police Department announced on Saturday morning that it has identified a suspect in the abduction and sex assault of an 8-year-old girl on Thursday.

Denver Police Division Chief Dave Fischer announced the department is looking for 27-year-old Bret Lee Luckett Thompson as a suspect in the crime.

Luckett Thompson is described as

  • a white male
  • 6 feet tall
  • 190 pounds
  • brown hair and brown eyes
  • light facial hair on his chin
  • tattoo of an SS or 55 on his right arm.

He is possibly driving a 1999 Pontiac white Montana van with either a Colorado or Louisiana license plate. The license plate number is believed to be 697 WJA for the Colorado plate. The Louisiana plate is believed to be STV 813.

Luckett Thompson is suspected of abducting the girl from the 400 block of South Raleigh Street on Thursday afternoon.

The girl was found an hour and a half later at a gas station at 1945 Federal Blvd.
