CU, CSU Flags To Fly Over State Capitol

Colo. Gov. Declares "CSU And CU Are Dancing Day"

Gov. John Hickenlooper is promoting March Madness in Colorado.

Hickenlooper signed a proclamation declaring Thursday as "CSU and CU are Dancing Day" and has ordered that the schools' flags be flown over the state Capitol as long as their teams remain in the NCAA tournament.

The proclamation also urges Colorado State and Colorado fans to wear their school colors on game days.

It's the first time both schools have been in the tournament since 2003. Both teams are No. 11 seeds.

CU, the winner of the Pac-12 tournament, plays UNLV in Albuquerque, N.M., at 7:57 p.m. on Thursday while CSU faces Murray State in Louisville, Ky., at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday.
