PARKER, Colo. – Police in Parker are looking for the thieves who stole equipment crucial to the Legend High School marching band whose members are preparing for the upcoming state championship.

According to police, the thieves broke into two outdoor sheds at the Parker school early Thursday morning and stole two generators, four light up orbs and several expensive, heavy duty extension cords.

The orbs will be hardest to replace, police say. They would like the public to keep an eye out for the stolen orbs, which are large and unique.

Police say surveillance photos, depicting a time stamp of 2:27 a.m., show two suspects and their vehicle, possibly a white Ford F150, pull up behind the school and enter the sheds. They also attempted to enter a third shed near the sports field but were unsuccessful.

Without these critical pieces of equipment, the school says students will be at a disadvantage when they compete in the 5A Marching Band State Championship, which is less than a week away.

Parker Police are asking for the public’s assistance for any information about the suspects or their vehicle.

Anyone with information about these suspects or the stolen items should please contact Officer Dan Britton at 303-435-2639.
