JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. – It’s not usual for suspects to look directly into surveillance cameras or point their gun at them, but that’s exactly what one man wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office did before running away from the scene of the crime.

Back in Jan. 31, a surveillance  camera caught a man getting out of a car in the area of South Turkey Creek and Ross Roads during the early hours of the evening.

The man, dressed in pants and a hoodie, is seen approaching the surveillance camera before pointing a gun at it.

Moments later, another man is seeing setting patio furniture on fire and then going back to their car to shoot it up before putting out the flames.

Deputies are asking that if you recognize any of the men in the video above, that you contact Deputy Walder at (303) 524-4555 or the Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-7867; reference case number 18-2583.
