Police: Shooting on Federal Blvd. may be tied to pot robbery

DENVER -- Denver Police are investigating a shooting that may be tied to a marijuana robbery.

Police said one person was shot in the back and the leg in the 2600-block of South Federal Boulevard just before 6 a.m. on Monday. That's between Vassar and Yale avenues.

There's no word yet on the victim's condition. Officers questioned at least two people at the scene.

Investigators told Denver7 that officers are looking for a black F-250 pickup truck with a white camper shell.
