DENVER – Denver Police are asking for your help to find the victim in a hit-and-run crash that took place early Sunday morning in west Denver.

A silver, four-door sedan, possibly a Honda Accord/Civic driven by a woman, was seen going north on Sheridan Boulevard and stopping at a red light at West Alameda Avenue when it was rear-ended by a silver Toyota, a police officer said in a statement.

The driver of the Honda motioned for the driver of the Toyota to pull over but the Toyota left, driving northbound on South Sheridan when the light turned green.

Officers were able to find the suspect vehicle at Sheridan and Bayaud Avenue and the driver was cited for the crash; the vehicle was towed.

However, police were not able to find the silver Honda or the driver of that car and they need your help to continue the investigation.

If you are the victim or know the victim in that crash, please call (720) 337-4505.
