Man's body found in burning vehicle in Weld County overnight

WELD COUNTY, Colo. – A death investigation is underway after a man’s body was found in a burning car early Saturday morning in Weld County.

Deputies responded to the 27000 block of Highway 52, near the town of Keenesburg, after getting reports of a vehicle fire in the area at around 1:04 a.m.

Once at the scene, deputies discovered one male passenger in the car was deceased. The victim’s identity and the cause of death are unknown at this time.

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office has launched a full investigation to find the cause of this incident.
