COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A manhunt is underway as police search for a suspect in the southeast part of Colorado Springs.
Police are searching for an armed suspect in the area of Murray and Fountain. Our ABC-affiliate station in Colorado Springs, KRDO-TV, reports they're also looking for the suspect in the area of Airport and Jet Wing. Numerous police officers are in the area.
Police are looking for a black male with a black hoodie with the number eight on it.
Officers are asking people in the area to remain locked inside their homes and to report anything suspicious by calling 911.
The search comes as three people were detained in the area of Chapman Drive Friday evening, KRDO-TV reports.
