DENVER – Police are looking for a suspect accused of kicking down a door and shooting a man on East 46th Avenue in north Denver.
The shooting happened not long after 9 p.m. Tuesday in the area of East 46th Avenue and Elizabeth Street at the Colonial Motel. Denver Police officers said the man was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Sources confirm to Denver7 the man was shot in the head from point-blank range.
The suspect in the shooting fled the scene and has yet to be located, police said.
