DENVER – The man arrested and accused of killing one person in a hit-and-run crash near 14th Avenue and Franklin Street faces a vehicular homicide charge.
Adrian Valdez, 20, appeared in court Monday to be advised of vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident charges in relation to the Sunday-morning crash.
Police haven’t released the details behind the two-vehicle crash, which left on person dead.
There have been more than 4,600 hit-and-run crashes reported in Denver so far this year—an average of 18 per day, and a marked increase from 2016.
