Fugitive Friday: Colo. man with sex offense, other felony convictions still at-large after 9 years

DENVER – Colorado authorities have put out another all-points bulletin for a sex offender who’s evaded law enforcement for more than 9 years.

Tyson Nathaniel Klingelhoffer, 39, has had an active warrant for his arrest out of El Paso County on a failure to register as a sex offender charge since May 2008 and hasn’t been caught.

He was convicted of criminal sexual contact—no consent in 2003 in exchange for having several other sex-related charges dropped, according to state court records.

He also has convictions on resisting arrest and drug possession, and has been convicted of felony menacing twice.

Klingelhoffer is described as a white man, 6-foot-2 inches tall and 220 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
