DENVER – A Boulder man is the No. 22 most-wanted sex offender in Colorado for failing to register as a sex offender in the area.

Johnny Edward Diehl, 19, had a warrant issued to the Boulder Police Department for his arrest for failing to register on Feb. 24.

Diehl was convicted in 2011, when he was 13 years old, of sexual assault – means of sufficient consequence -- overcoming a victim’s will.

He also pleaded guilty to his second underage possession/consumption of alcohol charge in November 2015, according to court records.

Anyone with information on Diehl’s whereabouts is asked to call the Boulder Police Department, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s 24-hour tip line at 303-239-5732, or the anonymous CrimeStoppers hotline at 1-800-222-TIPS.
