COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Springs police say an estranged husband shot another man before turning the gun on himself.
The shooting happened at a home in the area of Fossil Drive and Paradox Drive at just before 8 p.m. Friday, according to police.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the shooter dead inside the home and another man wounded in the torso. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the shooter’s wife was home at the time but wasn’t hurt.
Neighbors tell the Colorado Springs Gazette the couple had two children and was getting a divorce.
