CASTLE ROCK, Colo. – Police in Castle Rock are looking for a hit-and-run suspect who shot at two drivers early Thursday morning.

The shooting happened after a suspicious Ford F-3150 was reported in the parking lot of the Pines Apartment complex in the area of West Cedar Drive and West Bayaud Avenue at around at 4 a.m.

A man trying to go around the truck to go to work was side-swiped by the suspicious vehicle before taking off, according to a Castle Rock Police Department spokesperson.

The truck then hit a second vehicle on the way out of the parking lot and the two vehicles that were hit reportedly started following the Ford.

Once they reached the area of Castle Rock Parkway and I-25, the Ford drive reportedly fired shots at the drivers, hitting both cars.

The drivers were not injured.

Police do not have a license plate number for the suspicious vehicle nor surveillance video on the hit-and-run or the shooting.

The suspect in the shooting was only described as a clean shaven white or Hispanic man in his 20s with dark sunglasses.
