PUEBLO, Colo. – A 15-year-old boy in Pueblo wanted in the death of 22-year-old man found shot inside a house over the weekend has turned himself in, police said Wednesday.
The Pueblo Police Department said Johnny Dennel Jr., 15, turned himself in at approximately 5 p.m.
Dennel was wanted in connection with a shooting that took place Sunday at about 1:40 a.m. The Associated Press reported the person who reported the shooting said his son knew the victim but their exact relationship was unclear.
Dennel will be screened into the Pueblo Youth Detention Center.
