Teacher recovering after classroom attack

A pregnant teacher is recovering after allegedly being punched by a student.

The alleged attack happened at Mesa Ridge High School in Fountain on Monday, according toKKTV.

Denver7 reported that the student was unhappy about a grade.

The teacher is expected to be OK.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office told KKTV that the student is now facing possible charges of  third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and interference with staff at an educational institution.
