Suspect still at large after robbery of Colorado Springs Check Into Cash location

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police are looking for a suspect who allegedly stole money from a Check Into Cash location and ran from the scene.

Officers were called to the Check Into Cash location at 542 S. Academy Blvd. around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspect allegedly walked into the loan company location and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect did not show the clerk a weapon, and no one was injured.

The suspect then left the scene, taking an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen traveling northbound from the store on foot.

The suspect was described as a white male in his early-to-mid-20s, approximately 5-feet-7-inches tall with a thin build and a long brown goatee. He was reportedly wearing a grey stocking cap, large glasses with black frames, a camouflage-patterned coat and blue jeans.
