PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. - A Pueblo County sheriff's deputy has been arrested after he allegedly held a woman at gunpoint, authorities said Tuesday.

Sheriff's investigators say Randall Alire faces charges of menacing with a deadly weapon and domestic abuse, KRDO-TV reported.

Alire is a detention deputy and has been with the Sheriff's Office since January 2011. 

Alire has been placed on administrative leave during the investigation, the station reported. He remains in jail on a $75,000 bond.
