Police searching for 2 robbers who shot man in both legs in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Robbers shot a man in both legs during a hold-up in Colorado Springs on Monday night, police say.

Police said officers were called at about 10:30 p.m. to a reported shooting at Hill Park Apartments, in the 200 block of North Murray Boulevard.

Arriving officers found a man suffering from two gunshot wounds -- one in each leg.  The victim was transported by ambulance to a hospital. Police said his injuries are serious, but he was in stable condition and is expected to recover, KRDO-TV reported.

Police were looking for two suspects, described as black men. One man was 6-feet-1-inch tall and the other was 5-feet-5-inches tall. Both were dressed in dark clothing.
