Police are trying to find a motor scooter stolen from its deaf owner in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Someone has stolen a deaf man's motor scooter and Colorado Springs police are asking the public to help find it.

The scooter was stolen from the First United Methodist Church at 420 N. Nevada Ave. on Oct. 1, said Barbara Miller, spokeswoman for the Colorado Springs Police Department.

It is a blue Jonway scooter, license number YY50QT-6, with a compartment on the rear. The tail lights display "Hi" when lit and there is a "King Chef Diner" sticker on the scooter.
