PEYTON, Colo. - A plane touched down without extending its landing gear and slid off the runway at Meadow Lake Airport in El Paso County Friday afternoon, according to Tweets from the Sheriff's Office.
The tweets indicate that the initial report of the crash was received at 2:42 p.m.
"First reports indicate no injuries," sheriff's officials said.
The Meadow Lake Airport is northeast of Colorado Springs, at 13625 Judge Orr Rd. in Peyton.
