The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has euthanized three dogs that mauled four children Saturday night.
Mike Ingersoll faces charges of unlawful ownership of a dangerous dog, which is a misdemeanor, an EPSO spokesperson said.
According to state documents, Ingersoll runs a breeding company called Rare Danes on his property in the 1400 block of Johnson Road in Rush.

Three of the children underwent successful surgeries Sunday.
The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region says that the dogs were put down on Monday.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office said a woman who worked at the breeding facility went to check on the dogs. Her five children were also with her.
EPSO spokeswoman Jackie Kirby says the woman took her children to the home of her boss, where the man breeds dogs.
The woman told authorities she was checking on animals in a barn when she heard screams and found the children had been attacked by the dogs.
The woman has not yet been identified.
Amber Sathre helps with dog rehabilitation at National Mill Dog Rescue. She said there are signs that people can watch for to help avoid dog attacks.
"Dogs are very, very fearful and people aren't good at reading the signs because sometimes it's a really subtle thing. And so if you have small children who are noisy and aren't reading the dog well and corner it, they can absolutely lash out and bite a child," said Sathre. "And when you're dealing with multiple dogs, the pack mentality can set in and it turns into a frenzy."
She said people should avoid kissing dogs in their face because while humans use the gesture to show affection, it's a hostile move on a dog.
"In the dog world, that's very aggressive and dogs can be very intimidated. And a dog that wouldn't normally bite may bite," said Sathre.
She said people should avoid making eye contact with unfamiliar dogs, avoid speaking to a dog in a high pitch voice and petting dogs without asking permission from their owner.
