A man accused of vandalism at the top of the Manitou Incline has been issued a summons.

Andres Blea, 20, is accused of criminal mischief for allegedly painting graffiti on the remains of the old Summit House.

"A lot of sweat blood and tears have been poured into the trail, so to see someone deface it, I think it really rings in and hits a nerve with a lot of people," Ryan Johnson, the Incline Friends President, told KRDO-TV.

Hikers took pictures of the graffiti being painted and said they asked the vandal to stop, but he refused.
