Girlfriend accuses ex-boyfriend of carjacking

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - After escaping from an alleged carjacking, Colorado Springs Police say a woman called them to report her ex-boyfriend was the suspect.

Police report that she made the call around 6:16 p.m. Thursday from the area of 3800 block of E. Pikes Peak Ave. She was allegedly driven there after her ex got into her car while she was sitting in the 300 block of Longfellow Drive.

The woman was uninjured and police eventually caught up with the suspect, who was identified as 33-year-old Kevin Holod. He was arrested without incident.
